Ever dreamed of hearing your favorite movie scores performed live by the composers themselves? That dream is becoming reality thanks to Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails, who have announced Future Ruins, a groundbreaking festival dedicated to film and television composers.

Set for November 8, 2025, at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, this one-day event will feature an impressive lineup including John Carpenter, Danny Elfman, Mark Mothersbaugh, and Questlove performing Curtis Mayfield's works.

"It's about giving people who are literally, in the at taking on an via music opportunity to new stories an interesting live setting," explains Reznor about the festival's purpose.

What makes Future Ruins unique? "Every artist is a headliner, each with their own specially curated moment," according to the organizers. The festival will span three stages, offering everything from electronic sets to orchestral performances.

Many participating composers rarely perform live, making this a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for film score enthusiasts.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, May 21, at 12 p.m. PT/3 p.m. ET, with both general admission and VIP packages available.

As the festival website proudly states, "This one-time lineup is not just a music festival - it's a cinematic ceremony".
